Flowing Hair Silver Dollars
America's first silver dollars, minted in 1794 and 1795, featured a depiction of Liberty with her head tilted upwards, her majestic hair flowing behind her. This design, created by Robert Scot, the first Chief Engraver of the US Mint, was used for these two years only, before being replaced by the newer draped bust design partway through 1795.

This modern release from the U.S. Mint pays homage to one of the most historic coins ever produced in the United States, and brings the high quality of modern minting technology to this classic design.
