Own a piece of early American numismatic history with this Rare 1802/0 Draped Bust Half Cent, one of only two known die marriages for the year.
This variety, classified as Cohen-2, is distinguished by the prominent 2/0 overdate on the obverse and a more intricate full-leaf reverse wreath design, first introduced in 1797.
The C-2 variety is the only example from 1802 that's realistically obtainable by collectors, making it a cornerstone for any serious U.S. early copper collection.

Shows the Draped Bust of Liberty with “LIBERTY” above and the date 1802 below. Look closely — the “2” is struck over a “0”, a rare 2/0 overdate variety.
Features “HALF CENT” inside a full wreath, with two leaves at the upper right — a new design from 1797. “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” surrounds it, with “1/200” below.
